The Computer Science Education Research Conference (CSERC) is an international forum for researchers with interests in all aspects of computer science education. It embraces a broad view of current and future trends in computer science education and aspires to be a lively environment for presenting the latest research results. CSERC considers full papers for presentation at the conference.
Categories
CSERC solicits high-quality articles in any of three categories:
Research Articles leading-edge, previously unpublished research
Position Papers advocating or critiquing new trends
Project Papers lessons drawn from completed projects
Articles must be original and not submitted to any other forum for publication. They may consider any aspect of computer science education. Theory, trends, implementation, experience and projects, all lie within the scope of the conference.
Articles on the following subject areas are particularly welcomed:
designing a Computer Science curriculum
pedagogical peculiarities of Computer Science Education
development of professional competencies in Computer Science
tools and instruments supporting Computer Science Education
field studies in Computer Science Education
cultural and regional differences in Computer Science Education
convergence and divergence in Computer Science bachelor and master Education
vocational and professional Computer Science Education
Preparing and Submitting Manuscripts
Full papers are limited up to 12 pages.
The format for the papers can be found on the acm-website; use the The Large File Double Column format. There are three categories: research article, position paper, project paper. Each submission must declare its category.
Papers can be submitted using Easychair.
Papers submitted for presentation at the conference are reviewed by the program committee.
Authors of papers presented at the conference will be invited to produce a final version of the paper, which takes into account the discussions that were held during the conference. These final versions of the papers will be published in the ACM Digital library.
