ICIAR 2013 - ICIAR 2013 : International Conference on Image Analysis and Recognition
Topics/Call fo Papers
Authors are invited to submit full papers showing original research contributions. The work should not have been presented or published or being considered for review or publication by other conferences or journals. The page limit is 8 pages (1-column), plus 2 extra pages for a fee (TBD), including an abstract, all text, figures, tables and references.
Starting with ICIAR 2012, one of the days of the conference will be focused in a special topic. In 2013 the focused topic is Biometrics. The sessions will comprise invited keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations and a panel discussion. Authors are invited to submit full papers under this topic, addressing original research developments.
The conference proceedings will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (Springer LNCS). Authors should refer to the Author's Instructions on Springer's web site for more information on paper format and to download the style/template files. Please note that instructions on Springer's web site may refer to the "camera-ready" version of a paper. Authors can use the same instructions for their first submission, as well as for the camera-ready version upon acceptance of their papers. (Authors are not required to submit a copyright form with their first submission.)
Only electronic submission will be accepted through the conference paper submission web page (to be opened later). Please use only PDF or PostScript format for the submitted paper. If your paper is accepted you will be asked to submit the source of the camera-ready version of your paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Acceptable formats for the source version are LaTeX and Microsoft Word (LaTeX is preferred), using Springer's style/template files.
The paper submission deadline is January 18, 2013.
