WIC 2013 - The 2013 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Web Intelligence (WI13)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The 2013 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Web Intelligence (WI13) and the 2013 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Intelligent Agent Technology (IAT-13) will be held in Atlanta, USA, Nov. 17-20, 2013. The two co-located conferences are sponsored by IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Intelligent Informatics (TCII), Web Intelligence Consortium (WIC), and ACM-SIGART.
Web Intelligence focuses on scientific research and applications by jointly using Artificial Intelligence (AI) (e.g., knowledge representation, planning, knowledge discovery and data mining, intelligent agents, and social network intelligence) and advanced Information Technology (IT) (e.g., wireless networks, ubiquitous devices, social networks, semantic Web, wisdom Web, and data/knowledge grids) for the next generation of Web-empowered products, systems, services, and activities.
Intelligent Agent Technology explores advanced intelligent systems and their broad applications in computer science and engineering, big data mining, biomedical informatics, health informatics, social networks, education, robotics, security, etc.
Following the great successes of WI-IAT’01 held in Maebashi, Japan, WI-IAT’03 in Halifax, Canada, WI-IAT’04 in Beijing, China, WI-IAT’05 in Compiegne, France, WI-IAT’06 in Hong Kong, WI-IAT’07 in Silicon-Valley, USA, WI-IAT’08 in Sydney, Australia, WI-IAT’09 in Milano, Italy, WI-IAT’10 in Toronto, Canada, WI-IAT’11 in Lyon, France, and WI-IAT’12 in Macau, China, the WI-IAT’13 will provide a global forum for scientists, engineers and educators to present the latest WI-IAT technologies, discuss how to develop future intelligent systems for complex applications.
WI-IAT’13 will have various workshops, WI-IAT technical sessions, tutorials and panels. WI-IAT’13 will have keynotes, a social reception together with the poster session and industry demo, and a banquet. Attendees only need to register once to attend all technical events at WI-IAT’13.
