Innovation and Research in signal processing, image processing and pattern recognition have been a research area of social concern with innovative applications in medical field, remote sensing, military and many other areas of practical necessity. Signal processing, image processing and pattern recognition have evolved together and each depends on the success of the other. The information hungry world has been exponentially growing this has lead to the need of this International Conference of Signal processing, image processing and pattern recognition which provides a platform for researchers in these areas. Papers presented in the conference will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE explore digital library.
ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF ECE:
The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department was established in the year 1986 with the avowed intent of raising highly qualified Engineers and Researchers who can make substantial contribution to the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The department has a strength of 1200 students guided by a team of devoted and diligent staff members. Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes are offered by the department. The PG programme includes Applied Electronics, VLSI Design and Communication Systems. It also offeres Ph.D degree. The Department has well equipped laboratories such as VLSI Design, DSP, Microwave, RF Communication system, Microprocessor, Microcontroller, Linear and digital IC and Electronics Labs. Advanced softwares like FEKO, Synopsis, Microsim 8.0 etc., are the pride of the department.The Electronics and Communication Hi-Tech Organization (ECHO) instituted in the department conducts regular Technical activities like Quiz, Paper Presentation and weekly Seminars. The department signed MoU with Tata Elxsi, Jasmin InfoTech, Ananya innovation limited and TRI Techno solutions.
