LSCP 2013 - Workshop on Large Scale Computational Physics
Topics/Call fo Papers
The workshop will focus on symbolic and numerical methods and simulations, algorithms and tools (software and hardware) for developing and running large-scale physics computations. Special interest will go to: scalability, parallelism and high numerical precision. System architectures will also be presented as long as they are actually supporting physics calculations including: massively parallel systems, many-cores, GPU, MIC, distributed (cluster, grid/cloud computing), and hybrid systems.
Topics will be chosen from areas including theoretical physics (high energy physics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, cosmology, quantum physics, accelerator physics), molecular dynamics, condensed matter and material science, plasma physics, laser physics, complex and turbulent systems.
