MMAMP 2013 - Workshop on Meshfree methods applied to multiscale problems
Topics/Call fo Papers
Multiscale and multi-component problems in engineering and sciences are difficult computationally with standard finite difference, element, and volume methods. Problems over irregular three dimensional domains, especially with multi-scale physics, can easily consume months of effort. The intent of this workshop is to introduce meshfree methods that are much simpler and more accurate than the standard methods. The presenters will demonstrate a variety of applications.
