FutureCyber 2013 - The 2013 International Workshop on Challenges and Opportunities in Future Cyberspace (FutureCyber-13)

This workshop intends to address key issues in Future Cyberspace. In recent years, we are transitioning from real space into cyberspace which has become an indispensable part of our daily lives. Future Cyberspace should be an open, interoperable, reliable and secure platform on which we are able to increase our productivity, create new businesses and offer more services online. However, Future Cyberspace also poses new challenges that cannot be resolved by using existing technologies. The research efforts should provide innovative solutions in order to deliver resilient, cost-effective capabilities to the Future Cyberspace and meet the operation requirements in terms of scalability, heterogeneity, adaptability, security, trust and privacy. This workshop aims at bringing together researchers from academic and industry laboratories for a face-face meeting to discuss common research interests in Future Cyberspace.
