The 4th annual global engineering education conference, IEEE EDUCON 2013, stops by in Europe again. The conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for academic, gov-ernment and industrial collaboration on teaching methods, practical experiences and research toward improving the future of global engineering education. IEEE EDUCON 2013 will be held on March 13-15 in Berlin, Germany on the cam-pus of Technische Universität Berlin and is an ideal forum for sharing ideas, learning about new developments in en-gineering and technology education and interacting with peers from these fields.
Presentation Formats
Proposals for participation in the 2013 EDUCON conference can be submitted in the following formats (described on www.educon-conference.org)
Papers: full paper
Papers: short paper
Special sessions
Panels
Workshops
Review
Proposals are submitted comprising a two-stage review process:
Abstract Submission: in the first stage a one page ab-stract has to be submitted for review by October 22, 2012.
Draft Submission: Subject to review results, authors will be invited to submit a preliminary version of their complete paper for peer-review by December 3, 2012.
Final Submission and Author Registration: Final ver-sions of the accepted papers, as they will appear in the proceedings, have to be submitted by January 30, 2013.
Submission deadline for special session proposals: 22 Octo-ber 2012.
Submission deadline for workshops, panels, and round tables is 21 November 2012

Conference Proceedings
Conference proceedings with an appropriate ISBN number will be distributed electronically on a USB device and will also be available through IEEE Xplore. Selected award papers will be recommended for publication in IEEE Transactions on Education and in the IEEE-RITA Electronic Journal.
