Agro-Geoinforma 2013 - The Second International Conference on Agro-Geoinformatics 2013
Topics/Call fo Papers
Agro-geoinformation, the agricultural-related geo-information, is the key information in the agricultural decision making and policy formulation process. As a branch of geoinformatics, agro-geoinformatics is the science and technology about for handling digital agro-geoinformation, such as collecting (including field visits and remote sensing), processing, storing, archiving, preservation, retrieving, transmitting, accessing, visualization, analyzing, synthesizing, presenting, and disseminating agro-geoinformation. Recent advances in geoinformatics have created new opportunities and challenges in applying agro-geoinformatics to agriculture monitoring and assessment.
The International Conference on Agro-Geoinformatics is an ideal venue for professionals and students to exchange ideas, research results, professional experiences, to obtain the information about the latest developments and future vision in the fields of geoinformation science, remote sensing, and their applications in agriculture. The Second First International Conference on Agro-Geoinformatics (Agro-Geoinformatics 2013) will be organized and hosted by the Center for Spatial Information Science and Systems (CSISS) of George Mason University (GMU), will be held in Fairfax, USA on August 12-16, 2013.
