The Ubiquitous and Multimedia Applications Systems covers challenges and advances for presenting research in the design, development, deployment, evaluation and understanding of ubiquitous systems and multimedia application. UMAS 2013 is an interdisciplinary field of research and development that utilizes and integrates pervasive, wireless, embedded, wearable and/or mobile technologies to bridge the gaps between the multimedia digital and physical worlds. UMAS 2013 will bring together researchers and practitioners who are interested in both the technical and applied aspects of Ubiquitous and Multimedia Application Systems. This workshop is in conjunction with GPC-13 conference. The workshop will follow UMAS 2013 instructions for paper submission, review, and session construction. Papers offering novel research contributions in any aspect of Ubiquitous and Multimedia Application Systems are solicited for submission to the symposium. GPC-13 (http://www.ftrai.org/gpc2013/).
