Special Issue on e-Research for Education: Applied, methodological and
critical perspectives
Guest editors: Lina Markauskaite and Peter Reimann
This special issue aims to provide a comprehensive review of the
emerging domain of ICT- enhanced research methods in educational
research. It seeks contributions that broadly fall into one of the
following categories:
1) methodological papers that review of the state of the art in
different fields of digital research (e.g., learning analytics, data
mining, collaborative video analysis, digital ethnography, digital
scholarship);
2) applied case studies of frontier research projects that embrace or
contribute to the development of digital inquiry approaches in
education;
3) conceptual explorations of digital research that engage with the
critical examination of implications of digital research approaches.
Early submission opening date: 30th October 2012
Deadline for submissions: 31st March 2013
