INTERSPEECH 2012 - INTERSPEECH 2012 13th Annual Conference of the International Speech Communication Association
Topics/Call fo Papers
InterSpeech is the world's largest and most comprehensive conference on issues surrounding the science and technology of spoken language processing (SLP), both in humans and in machines. The theme of InterSpeech 2012 is Spoken Language Processing and Biomedicine. The conference will emphasize an interdisciplinary approach covering all aspects of speech science and technology spanning basic theories to applications.
Papers will be reviewed by members of the Technical Program Committee. Accepted papers will be considered for an oral presentation, poster presentation, demonstration or presentation in a special session.
Authors are encouraged to submit original papers in any area related to SLP science and technology, including but not limited to:
Human Speech Production and Perception
Linguistics, Phonology, Phonetics, Prosody, Para-/Non-linguistic Information
Analysis of Speech and Audio Signals
Speech Coding and Enhancement
Speech Synthesis and Spoken Language Generation
Speech Recognition - Signal Processing, Acoustic Modeling, Robustness, Adaptation
Speech Recognition - Architecture, Search, Linguistic Components
Speaker and Language Identification
Dialog Systems and Other Applications, Evaluation, Resources
Authors wishing to contribute to a Special Session or a Show & Tell Demonstration are invited to separately consult the Call for Special Sessions and Call for Show & Tell for relevant instructions.
