PTG 2013 - 12th ASME International Power Transmission and Gearing Conference (PTG)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The Power Transmission and Gearing (PTG) Committee of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Design Engineering Division is pleased to invite you to participate in the 11th ASME International Power Transmission and Gearing Conference. This Conference will be held in conjunction with the ASME International Design Engineering Technical Conferences and Computers and Information in Engineering Conferences (IDETC/CIE 2013) in Portland, OR between August 4 - 7, 2013. Power transmission and gearing researchers and engineers from around the world attend this conference. This makes it an ideal forum for enhancing power transmission and gearing engineering by providing attendees an opportunity to become familiar with the latest research findings and applications that address critical engineering issues.
Authors and attendees are invited to participate in this premier international conference. This is a unique opportunity to disseminate your latest research findings to a global audience, and network with leading experts in the field. Papers are solicited on all aspects of gear and power transmission technology and range of applications (aerospace, automotive, wind turbine, and others).
Topics include but are not limited to:
PTG-1 Gear System Design and Analysis
PTG-2 Surface Engineering and Tribology
PTG-3 Plastic Gears
PTG-4 Gear System Dynamics and Noise
PTG-5 Power Loss in Gear Systems
PTG-6 Gear Strength and Durability
PTG-7 Novel Transmission Concepts and Control
PTG-8 Wind Turbine Gears
PTG-9 Gear Manufacturing
PTG-10 Bearings
