A festival in the city of Kiryu
Kiryu is one of the oldest cities in the greater Tokyo area. It is filled with cultural heritage and beautiful
nature. It locates at the edge of Kanto Plains and 100km north of the center of Tokyo.
CPIM 2010 is the 1st International Conference on Precision Instrumentation and Measurement, which will
be periodically hold in Kiryu and other cities in the world.
The Topics include, but not limited to, the following
(1) Precision mechanical/electrical measurement
(2) Optical Measurement
(3) Metrology (mechanical, electrical)
(4) Nano/micro scale measurement
(5) Signal processing for precision measurement
(6) Numerical simulation for precision measurement
(7) Precision control based on precision measurement
(8) Information technology for precision measurement
(9) Precision measurement for mechanical engineering
(10) Precision measurement for electrical engineering
(11) Precision measurement for information engineering
(12) Precision measurement for civil engineering
(13) Dynamic calibration for force transducers
(14) The Levitation Mass Method (LMM)
Journal Publication
The accepted authors can submit revised full-papers for
publication in Applied Mechanics and Materials.
Papers passed through the peer-review process of the
journal can be published in a special volume of Applied
Mechanics and Materials (AMM).

Invited Papers Sessions
The special category "Invited Papers Session" is
prepared. "Invited Papers Session" consists of 5-10
papers.
The chairman of an "Invited Papers Session" will be
responsible to the reviewing process for publication in the special volume of "Applied Mechanics and
Materials". He/She can be the reviewer and/or assign the reviewer, and make the recommendation of
rejection or acceptance to the editor-in-chief, Prof. Fujii, with the result of the review.
Registration fee: 20,000JPY(approx.200 USD)/person
Including: Conference proceedings (=digest) (CD-ROM), coffee break, lunch, and party
Excluding: publication fee for the special issue of “Applied Mechanics and Materials (AMM)”
