Topics/Call fo Papers
The International Design and Test Symposium explores emerging challenges and novel concepts in design, automation and test of electronic products ranging from integrated circuits through multi-chip modules and printed circuit boards to full systems and microsystems, as well as examining the methodologies and tools used in the design, verification and silicon debug of such products. IDT provides a unique forum to discuss best practices and novel approaches in design, automation and test in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. IDT’12 will take place in Doha, Qatar. The symposium is initiated and sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Test Technology Technical Council and the 2012 edition is organized by Texas A&M University at Qatar. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
Design Methods and Tools
SOC, SIP, NOC design
Multiprocessor systems
Embedded systems
Analog, Mixed Signal and RF Systems
MEMS and MOEMS systems
Low Voltage and Low Power systems
Innovative technologies
Real-time systems
Simulation, Validation and Verification
System Specification and Modeling
Formal Methods and Verification
System Design/Synthesis/Optimization
Testing and Reliability
SOC and SIP testing
Multiprocessor test
Memory and FPGA test and repair
Delay testing
Analog and Mixed Signal testing
MEMS/MOEMS testing
Defect and fault modeling
DFT, BIST and BISR
On-line testing / fault tolerant systems
Fault Simulation, ATPG
Dependability and reliability
Submissions
IDT’12 invites original, unpublished paper submissions. Paper submissions should be complete manuscripts, not exceeding six pages (inclusive of figures, tables, and bibliography) in standard IEEE two-column format. Authors should clearly explain the significance of the work, highlight novel features and describe its current status. On the title page, please include: author name(s) and affiliation(s), the mailing address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address of the contact author. A 50-word abstract and five keywords identifying the topic area are also required. All submissions are to be made electronically at http://welcome.molesystems.com/tttc/IDT/2012/login.... A submission will be considered as evidence that, upon acceptance, the author(s) will prepare the final camera-ready version of the paper in time for inclusion in the proceedings, and will present the paper at the conference. All papers will be considered for the IDT 2012 Best Paper Award.
Publications
IDT’12 will produce Formal Proceedings of accepted papers, published by the IEEE. The proceedings will be available to all participants during the conference. A post-conference CD-ROM with papers, presentation slides (if made available by the presenter), and photos will be mailed to all participants.
Key Dates
Submission deadline: September 23, 2012
Notification of acceptance: October 15, 2012
