Workshop Summary
================
As the recent advances in mobile devices, sensing, communication, and computing have made mobile data ubiquitous,
effectively analysing mobile data becomes a central issue in a wide variety of applications.
Mobile data analytics is the next generation of business intelligence, allowing companies and organization
to make better business decisions based on effective understanding of mobile data. The main goal of the
workshop on Mobile Data Analytics is to provide a forum to share original ideas, research results,
and practical development experiences among researchers and application developers.
Topics of Interest
==================
The topics of interest for MoDA include, but are not limited to:
- Real-time analysis on mobile data
- Visualization of mobile data analytics, including smartphones and tablets
- Business intelligence for mobile data
- Online mobile data analytical processing
- Big mobile data management
- Mobile data analytics in the Cloud
- Processing mobile sensor data, including GPS and in-vehicle sensor data
- Management and control of on-device sensory data
- Mobile data compression
- Mobile data mining
- Social and mobile data fusion
Important Dates

Submission deadline: Monday 5 Nov 2012
Author notification: Friday 14 Dec 2012
Camera-ready papers due: Friday 21 Dec 2012
Submission Details
==================
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not being considered for publication
in any other forum. Papers will be evaluated according to their significance, originality, technical content, style,
clarity, and relevance to the workshop. At least one author of each accepted paper is expected to attend the workshop.
Papers should be 8 pages long, formatted according to the ICDE formatting guidelines.
