SIPS 2012, the South International Protection & Security Expo, will take place on 16-18 October 2012 in Krasnodar.
As is well known, the Krasnodar region plays an important role in the economy of Russia. With more than five million residents, the Krasnodar region provides stability in the North Caucasus and influence in the Caucasus, Near East and Mediterranean Basin. It is a border area and the only point of access of Russia to the Black Sea and, through it, major international maritime routes. Furthermore, the Krasnodar region is a highly developed region and the basis of productive forces, which include: industry, construction, fuel and energy, information and communication technologies, agribusiness, transport, leisure and tourism. In this regard, increased attention is being given to the comprehensive security of both industrial and civil facilities.
The aim of the exhibition is to facilitate the implementation of government programmes aimed at providing integrated security in southern Russia. A set of measures aimed at preventing, combating and eliminating threats and dangerous situations will be presented both within the exhibition’s business programme and at exhibitors’ stands.
Particular attention will be given to anti-terrorism programmes, the work of the customs service and means of customs control, border control, inspection equipment, fire safety systems and rescue equipment, modern telecommunication systems, identification systems and intruder systems.
