We invite you to take part in the Joint Annual Meeting (AM) of the Archaeological Institute of America and the American Philological Association, January 3-6, 2013 which will be held in the heart of Seattle, Washington at the Washington State Convention Center. The AM has grown tremendously over the past decade not only in attendance, but also in the scope of papers presented, demographic of attendees, and focus on professional development, cultural heritage management, new technologies and other topics of critical importance to the field. Each January more than 3,000 attendees from over 30 countries and nearly every state in the union attend this Joint Annual Meeting, allowing for the exchange of knowledge and ideas between top professionals in the field, post-doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate students, as well as archaeology enthusiasts, ARCHAEOLOGY magazine subscribers, and AIA local society members.
