Topics/Call fo Papers
The XVI SBSR is organized by INPE (National Institute for Space Research) and SELPER Brazil.
OBJECTIVE
The purpose of the XVI Brazilian Remote Sensing Symposium (SBSR) is to promote the meeting of academic and scientific communities of remote sensing, geotechnologies, and related areas.
The Symposium is a great opportunity for the presentation of technical and scientific results of remote sensing research, the exchange of experiences among professionals, the improvement of knowledge in applications using remote sensing and geotechnologies, the advancement of institutional cooperation, and for the development of the private sector.
TEVENT'S LOCATION
All the events will be held at the "Complexo Rafain Expocenter" of Foz do Iguaçu city, Paraná State, Brazil. Foz do Iguaçu is an important pole in remote sensing, has a very good infrastructure for conferences, and offers excellent hotels and touristic places.
Foz do Iguaçu is worldwide recognized for the Iguaçu Falls, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, and for the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant - the 2nd largest in the world and the 1st in electricity generation. The city is the 2nd destiny of foreign tourists that visit Brazil. Ciudad Del Este (Paraguay), Puerto Iguazú (Argentina) and Foz do Iguaçu are very close and together make an urban area with more than 700 thousand inhabitants.
The Rafain Palace Hotel & Convention Center offers special prices for hosting the symposium participants:
