PEMWN 2012 - The First International Workshop on Performance Evaluation and Modeling in Wireless Networks
Topics/Call fo Papers
Wireless Networks are becoming a necessity covering a wide range of application domains which include smart environments, health care, industry, precision agriculture, multimedia applications and intelligent transport systems, etc. This advancement in wireless and mobile technologies introduces new challenging issues.
The First International Workshop on Performance Evaluation and Modelling in Wireless Networks aims at providing a forum for sharing ideas and new research advances among researchers and practitioners working on state-of-the-art solutions in Wireless Networks. We are seeking papers that describe original and unpublished contributions addressing various aspects of performance evaluation of protocols, architectures and modelling of wireless ad hoc, sensor, vehicular and Mesh Networks.
Topics of the First International Workshop on Performance Evaluation and Modelling in Wireless Networks include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Wireless Ad Hoc, Sensor, Vehicular and Mesh Networks
Analytical Models, Simulations and Performance Evaluation for wireless networks
Medium Access and Routing Protocols for wireless networks
Energy Efficiency in wireless networks
Mobility Modelling and Management in wireless networks
Localization in wireless networks
QoS Provisioning in wireless networks
Coverage and Connectivity in wireless networks
Security Mechanisms in wireless networks
Formal methods for analysis of wireless systems
Implementations, testbeds, and prototypes of wireless networks
Topology Control and Management of wireless networks
Auto-adaptativity and Autoconfiguration in wireless networks
