NTTS 2013 - New Techniques and Technologies for Statistics

The NTTS (New Techniques and Technologies for Statistics) is an international scientific conference on the impact of new technologies on statistical collection, production and dissemination systems.
The objective of the conference is to stimulate and facilitate the preparation of new innovative projects, to encourage co-operation and possible building of consortia by researchers with the aim of enhancing the quality and usefulness of official statistics and to prepare activities related to statistical research within the next European Framework Programme for Research and Development.
Possible topics for papers include:
New ways of collecting, accessing and using large amounts of data
Integration, consolidation, combination of multiple data sources
Analysing data
Distributing, presenting and accessing data and microdata
Support for evidence-based policy making
Use of standards for Official Statistics
Date and venue
Previous NTTS conferences were been organised in 1992, 1995, 1998, 2001, 2009 and 2011.
NTTS 2013 will be held in Brussels from 5 to 7 March 2013 in the European Commission's Charlemagne building.

Abstract submission: 31 October 2012
Full paper submission (for accepted abstracts): 8 February 2013
