BI4T 2013 - First International Workshop on Building “Intelligence” for Intelligent Infrastructure using Internet-of-Things
Topics/Call fo Papers
The First International Workshop on Building “Intelligence” for
Intelligent Infrastructure using Internet-of-Things (BI4T) will
be co-hosted with ICDCN 2013. It intends to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers to share their ideas and
results and discuss the issues pertinent with the signal and data
processing required on the sensor data collected to make the
infrastructure “intelligent”.
The workshop will be a full day event comprising of invited talks
from distinguished researchers in the field, followed by selected
technical paper presentations and a panel discussion of eminent
contributors from this emerging field. A list of topics for paper
submissions to this workshop are mentioned below. Authors are
encouraged to submit position papers, surveys, research outcomes,
experiments & results and deployments in the following areas -
? Sensor Signal Processing: Challenges in sensor signal processing using low power devices, Sensor data reduction methodologies, Intelligent data sampling and compressed sensing,
Sensor Data Disaggregation, Domain-specific sensor signal
processing (camera, microphone, location, environmental
sensors, bio sensors etc.)
? Big Data Analytics: Storage and management of big data in Intelligent Infrastructures, Real-time analytics on sensor data,
Visual Analytics, Statistical Analytics, Big Data Architectures
