Signal processing is one of the core technologies, in rapidly growing application areas, such as wireless communications, audio & video processing and industrial control. The number and variety of products that include signal processing has grown dramatically over the last few years. DSP has become a key component, in many of the consumer, communications, medical and industrial products which implement the signal processing using microprocessors, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), Custom ICs etc. The recent decades have witnessed unexpected advances in technologies and engineering devices in the field of Signal Processing. The new generation of devices and technologies have created numerous new areas for research and development on in this field.
The First International Workshop on Emerging Technologies and Devices in Signal Processing (IW-ETDSP) 2012 bring together researchers, engineers and scientists working on these emerging technologies .The authors are invited to submit full papers describing original, previously unpublished, complete research, not currently under review by another conference or journal, addressing state-of-the-art research and development in the areas emerging and developing in the field of signal processing including image and audio/video processing .
The topic of interest are chosen based on thrust areas of research in academia and industry. All papers will be reviewed and accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings, published in IEEE Explore (approved).
Important Dates:
Paper submission: June, 27 2012
Acceptance Notification: August, 10 2012
Camera Ready: August,30 2012
Workshop: October, 3 ? 5 2012
Topics of interests include, but are not limited to:
Signal Processing Technologies
Adaptive and Multirate Signal Processing
Bio-Inspired Signal Processing
Biomedical Signal Processing
