Special Session on Technology Intelligence and Applications
To support decision-making with strategic foresight rightly, the combination of technology intelligence, political environment foresight, competitive intelligence, and consumer insight should be promised. As one of such important abilities, technology intelligence can be defined as activity that enables companies to identify the technological opportunities and threats that could affect the future growth and survival of their business. Thus, it needs to analyze technology trends, to forecast their sustainability, and furthermore to predict the next big wave by exploiting trawl, mine, scan, and target methods.
We seek high-qualified, original submissions of reports on research covering all the aspects of technology intelligence creation, promotion, and delivering methodologies based on the current information overload. The topics include but are not limited to the following:
Big Data Gathering and Management
Big Data Mining on technologies and their relations
Monitoring Social/Web Stream Data Sources
Integration of Data Sources
Ontology Modeling and Semantic Web Technologies
Social/Open/Linked Data and its Applications
Information Analytics
Technology Trends Analysis and Prediction

Electronic submission of full papers: June 1, 2012
Notification of paper acceptance: August 1, 2012
Camera-ready of accepted papers: August 31, 2012
Conference: December 4-7, 2012
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit their manuscript in LNCS/LNAI style (please see this page), maximum 10 pages.
