SACAM 2012 - 8th South African Conference on Computational and Applied Mechanics (SACAM)

Just a reminder that the deadline for abstracts was extended to 16 April 2012. We would like you to take advantage of the extension and to encourage your colleagues to also submit extended abstracts, ensuring widespread participation at SACAM2012. You are invited to submit an abstract by 16 April 2012 through https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/SACAM2012/. For selected abstracts, you can submit a full paper for the conference proceedings by 15 May 2012 in order for papers to be double blind peer reviewed. Final papers are due on 3 July 2012.
SACAM 2012 will be held at the University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park (South Africa) from 3 to 5 September 2012, hosted in partnership with the South African Association for Computational and Applied Mechanics (SAAM). The main function of SACAM is to bring together engineers, scientists and applied mathematicians from academia and industry from across the globe to encourage scientific engagement and exchange of ideas in applied mechanics.
