ISSIMIP 2012 - 1st International Summer School in Intelligent Multimedia Information Processing 2012
Topics/Call fo Papers
The 1st International Summer School on
Intelligent Multimedia Information Processing
(ISSIMIP 2012)
Hard Rock Hotel, Kuta, Bali
11-15th June 2012
Organized by: Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia
Intelligent multimedia information processing (IMIP) is the study of methods that help humans process and analyse large quantities of multimedia data (i.e. text, audio, image, and video) revealing useful patterns and knowledge hitherto implicit in the data. Today, it is an increasingly important and exciting research area, among others object recognition, scene understanding, computer vision, augmented reality, speech recognition, etc., with many valuable and interesting applications such as in bioinformatics, remote sensing, and robotics.
The 1st International Summer School on Intelligent Multimedia Information Processing (ISSIMIP 2012), organized by the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia, will bring together experts from across the region to teach their respective specialized topics, covering the various methods and techniques for modelling and analysing multimedia data.
