INTRODUCTION
The Symposium on Industrial Informatics (SII) is an open forum for researchers, practitioners and students that use and/or develop applications and industrial systems, both in academic and professional settings, fostering the interaction and exchange of experiences in these environments. It is therefore expected that participants of SII exchange ideas and share the results of their professional and research activities in the area of Industrial Informatics, in sessions and discussion panels.
The SII 2012 will be held as part of the 41 Argentine Conferences on Informatics (41 JAIIO), on August 28th, 2012 in La Plata, Argentina.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Authors are invited to send contributions related to the topics and areas mentioned, in English, Spanish, or Portuguese, according to the LNCS format:

The works submitted must not exceed 10 pages, including tables, figures and references, and must be submitted in PDF format. Detailed instructions for paper submission are available in the conference site.
All the symposia at 41JAIIO use SADIO's conference management system to handle submissions. To upload your contribution you first need to register and sign in. The web page of the symposia provide detailed instructions about registration and submission, direct access to the user registration form, and direct access to the submission form.
In this opportunity, a selection of the best articles will be published in the Iberoamerican Journal of Industrial Engineering (IJIE)
At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register to the conference before the deadline for camera ready submissions in order for the work to be considered for publication.
