C3WN 2012 - The 2012 International Workshop on Cognitive and Cooperative Communications for Wireless Networks (C3WN)
Topics/Call fo Papers
Cognitive radio and cooperative communications are both promisingly emerging technologies for future wireless networks, which have received lots of attention from academia and industry communities. The 2012 International Workshop on Cognitive and Cooperative Communications for Wireless Networks (C3WN) will be held in conjunction with the 4th IEEE International Conference on INTELLIGENT NETWORKING AND COLLABORATIVE SYSTEMS (INCoS 2012) in 19 - 21 September 2012, Bucharest, Romania .
Aims and Scope
The purpose of this workshop is to present high quality unpublished research papers on the theory of cognitive and cooperative communications together with their applications in future wireless networks. This workshop brings together members of the communications, information and network theory, and signal processing communities, working around the world. We seek original contributions that have not been published or currently under review for publications in any other journal. Accepted and presented papers will be included in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore, and be indexed by Engineering Index (EI). In addition, some selected papers will be recommended for publication in SCI/EI journals.
Topics of Interest
Specific topics of the workshop include (but not limited to):
Cooperative spectrum sensing and detection
Cognitive relay transmission
Smart multi-antenna techniques
Adaptive modulation and coding
Coordinated multipoint (CoMP) transmission
Multi-user scheduling and cross-layer optimization
Flexible energy-aware green networking
Autonomous cognitive resource management and allocation
game theory for cognitive radio and cooperative networking
Paper Submission
All submissions should be written in English, with a paper length between 4 and 6 pages (including figures and tables). Manuscripts should be prepared with A4 paper size, 10-point font, and two columns. Submissions have to comply with standard IEEE conference templates for LaTeX or Microsoft Word.
Submission Guidelines
All submissions should be prepared accoording to Conference Proceedings Manuscript guidelines:
Workshop paper: a paper with not more than six pages (Conference Proceedings Manuscript: two column, single-spaced), including figures and references, using 10 font size, and number each page.
You can find instructions to format the Proceedings Manuscript, at the following web page:
http://www.computer.org/portal/site/cscps/
Prepare your paper in PDF file (Adobe format), and submit it electronically to the web page:
http://edas.info/N12015
Accepted papers will be given guidelines in preparing and submitting the final manuscript(s) together with the notification of acceptance.
If you have any questions on the submission process, please feel free to contact jli-AT-xidian.edu.cn or cgyang-AT-xidian.edu.cn.
