SEMISH is the main symposium of the Brazilian Computer Society Congress. The thirty ninth edition of SEMISH will be held in Curitiba (Brazil) on July 16-19, 2012 in conjunction with 32th Brazilian Computer Society Congress.
The main theme of this year's symposium is ubiquitous computing, encompassing studies and solutions for services and convergent infrastructures, cloud computing, virtualization and mobility. As in the previous years, the symposium also welcomes papers related to the Grand Research Challenges proposed by the Brazilian Computer Society.
SEMISH aims bringing together academics and
industry practitioners in order to share experiences by submitting papers (in English or in Portuguese) that discusses solutions, the existing state-of-
the-art and set directions for future research.
Paper Submission:
Authors presenting original and unpublished works are invited to submit papers. The submitted papers should not exceed 12 pages (including references, figures and tables) and should follow the SBC style.
All papers should be submitted electronically, in PDF format, and uploaded on JEMS. https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/home.cgi?c=1578). Extended versions of the accepted papers will considered for publication in a special issue of an international journal (to be defined).
Important dates:
? Paper submission: April, 30th, 2012 (firm deadline).
? Acceptance notification: June, 4th, 2012.
? Camera-ready version: June, 20th, 2012.
? Symposium: July, 16-19, 2012.
