Freedom is among the greatest achievements of modern society ? and it is
our duty to protect this freedom.
The Future Security Conference brings together decision makers, public
authorities, industry and scientists to discuss new ways of facing this
challenge.
The conference takes a holistic view on security. It provides insight
into technological breakthroughs as well as social aspects of security.
It brings together the experience of high-profile researchers and
professionals from both industry and public authorities.
Take this opportunity to meet and discuss our Future Security with this
manifold community of security experts.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Security for Critical Infrastructure and Urban Areas
- Detection of Hazardous Materials (CBRNE, IED)
- Supply Chain Security, Anti-Piracy
- Crisis Management
- Cyber Defense and Information Security
- Sensor Technology
- Sensor Data and Information Fusion
- Security Situational Awareness
- Border Protection and Port Security

PAPER SUBMISSION
Authors are invited to submit English papers describing original work in
one of three different formats:
* Full papers are 10-12 pages in length and should present novel
perspectives within the scope of the conference.
* Short Papers are 3-4 pages in length and are an opportunity to present
preliminary or interim results.
* Posters may be submitted either as a one-page written abstract or as a
draft PDF version of the poster.
All submissions will be subject to a scientific review process. Accepted
full and short papers will be published in the Springer CCIS series.
Full paper presentations will receive an extended time slot at the
conference.

Notification to authors: May 31st, 2012
Camera ready due: June 20th, 2012
