It is with great pleasure that Brunel Institiute of Power Systems in the School of Engineering and Design at Brunel University invites you to the 47th International Universities' Power Engineering Conference (UPEC 2012) in London, UK.
UPEC is a long establsished conference, which is very popular with young researchers, PhD students and engineers from the power industry. It allows participants to exchange experiences and discuss the most up-to-date topics in power engineering.
By bringing together talented engineers and innovators, UPEC 2012 will provide important insights into the newest projects, developments and research that are driving the move towards competitive, sustainable and secure energy throughout Europe.

Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Brunel is one of the largest disciplines in the Univeristy with almost 50 full time academic staff and extensive teaching and research portfolios. The subject areas boasts an undergraduate population of 600 and a postgraduate poulation of over 300 students.
Brunel Institute of Power Systems (BIPS) has a record of international excellence in research and development of advanced computational tools (software and hardware) for the analysis, control, operation, management and design of the electricity generation, transmission and distribution systems.
