ICVGIP 2012 - Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing (ICVGIP)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The Eighth Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing (ICVGIP) will be held in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India from 16 to 19 December, 2012. Papers in the main technical program must describe high-quality, original research. Topics of interest include all aspects of computer vision, computer graphics and image processing, but not limited to:
Segmentation, Registration and Representation
Restoration and Super-Resolution
Pattern Analysis and Machine Learning
Object Recognition and Classification
Motion and Video Analysis
Image and Video Retrieval
Surveillance and Activity Recognition
Vision-based Graphics
Medical Image Analysis
Document Image Analysis
Applications on Handheld Devices
Performance Evaluation
Mathematical Methods
Image and Video Coding
Shape-from-X
Rendering Techniques
Modelling and Animation
Scientific Visualization
Real-Time Graphics
Virtual and Augmented Reality
Human Computer Interaction
Hardware for Vision and Graphics
Computational Photography
Color Processing
Multi-band processing and fusion
Biometrics
Remote Sensing
In submitting a manuscript to ICVGIP, authors acknowledge that no paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another journal, or conference or workshop during the review period. In such a case the paper will be rejected without review.
Reviewing will be double-blind.Paper submissions will be handled electronically via Microsoft CMT portal. Proceedings will be published in digital archives of ACM. Extended versions of selected papers will be published in a special issue of high-impact journals. (ICVGIP 2010 had selected papers published with additional content in The Visual Computer.) Important dates for the paper submission can be found here.
In addition to the main single track technical program, there will be Tutorials, Workshops, Graduate Student Symposium and Industrial Exhibits.
