SBrT 2012 - The 30th Brazilian Telecommunications Symposium (SBrT'12)

The Brazilian Telecommunications Symposium (SBrT) is widely recognized
as the most important scientific, academic and technical forum for
telecommunications in Brazil. This year's event will take place at the
Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center, in the Brazilian capital,
Brasília.

Authors are invited to submit unpublished papers in one or more of the
following research areas:
- Antennas and Microwaves
- Network Performance Evaluation
- Communication Circuits
- Optical Communications
- Communications for Smart Grids
- Wireless Communications
- Criptography and security
- Applied Electromagnetism
- Adaptive Filtering
- Green Communications
- Image and Video Processing
- Speech and Audio Processing
- Digital Signal Processing
- Cognitive Radio and Systems
- Digital Radio
- Communication Networks
- Computer Networks
- Optical Networks
- Wireless Networks
- Communication Systems
- Communications Theory
- Digital TV
- Information Theory and Coding
Papers can be submitted in two categories: full papers or
undergraduate project reports. The official language of the symposium
is Portuguese, but articles may be submitted and presented in English
as well.
Full papers must be submitted in PDF format and should not exceed 5
pages. Accepted papers shall be presented orally. The best symposium
papers shall be pre-selected for a special issue of the Journal of
Communications and Information Systems (JCIS). Undergraduate project
reports should be submitted in pdf format and should not exceed 2
pages. If accepted, they shall be presented as posters.
We also wellcome proposals for 4-hour tutorials, that shall be held on
the 13th September 2012. Authors of approved tutorials will have their
registration fees covered by the organizing commitee (limited to one
registration per tutorial).

June 15, 2012 - Notification of acceptance
July 5, 2012 - Registration opening
July 16, 2012 - Camera-ready papers
