Workshop dates: Sept. 9, 2012

SCOPE
The 2nd International Workshop on Network Coding in Wireless Relay Networks (NRN 2012) will be held in conjunction with IEEE PIMRC 2012 in Sydney, Australia, September 9th, 2012. Accepted and presented papers will be included in the IEEE PIMRC Proceedings and IEEE Xplore, and be indexed by Engineering Index (EI).
The purpose of this workshop is to present high quality unpublished research papers on recent advances on the theory of network coding and its applications in wireless communications systems and networks. This workshop brings together members of the communications, information and network theory, and signal processing communities, working in both academia and industry. We seek original contributions that have not been published or currently under review for publications in any other journal.
Specific topics of the conference include (but not limited to):
- Network coding in the physical layer
- Joint channel coding and network coding
- Joint source coding and network coding
- Practical applications and evaluations of network coding
- Implementation aspects of network coding
- Robustness, energy, synchronization, or delay aspects of network coding
- Network coding theory
- Shannon theory for network coding
- Security and error correction for network coding
- Network coding for distributed storage
