Since the first AI Conference took place in Sydney in 1987, the series of annual Australasian Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence have become the premier event for Artificial Intelligence researchers in Australasia and one of the major international forums on AI worldwide. For its 25th anniversary, the Australasian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence will return to Sydney in December 2012, jointly hosted by The University of Western Sydney and The University of New South Wales.
