ADPNA 2012 - The 6th International Workshop on Advanced Distributed and Parallel Network Applications (ADPNA-2012)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The 6th International Workshop on Advanced Distributed and Parallel Network Applications (ADPNA-2012) will be held in conjunction with the 15th International Conference on Network-Based Information Systems (NBiS-2012) in Melbourne, Australia from September 26 to September 28, 2012. The ADPNA International Workshop was held for the first time in Fukuoka, Japan in conjunction with IEEE ICPADS-2005, the second one was held in X'ian, China in conjunction with ICPP-2007, and thrird one was held in Vienna, Austria in conjunction with ICPP-2009. The fourth one was held in Takayama, Japan in conjunction with NBiS-2010. The fifth one was held in Tirana, Albania in conjunction with NBiS-2011. This is the sixth edition of ADPNA International Workshop and will continue to be held successfully in the coming years.
The ADPNA-2012 covers novel theories, designs, and applications on distributed and parallel computing systems. Various types of computers are interconnected in communication networks. Networks of today are going through a rapid evolution and are giving a great influence to our society. In addition, computing models are changing to new architecture like Croud computing, Grid computing and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) computing models. For this reason, it is significant to discuss how to design and realize high-performance computation models and network applications for distributed and parallel systems.
The ADPNA-2012 International Workshop seeks original contributions in all relevant areas, including but not limited to the following topics. Papers of high quality in the following areas will be invited:
TOPICS:
Cloud, Grid, and P2P Computing
Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks
Agent and Intelligent Computing
Communication Technology and Protocols
Dependable and Autonomic Systems
Distributed and Parallel Algorithms
Fault-tolerant and Dependable System
Distributed Database and Data Mining
Internet Computing and Web Applications
Mobile Networks and Applications
Multimedia Tools and Applications
Network Control and Performance Evaluation
