Structure 2010 - Structure 2010 - Advances In Structure Elucidation
Topics/Call fo Papers
Theme
This 2-day meeting will showcase new and evolving techniques, workflows and applications in the broad framework of molecular structure elucidation of "small" molecules, mainly but not exclusively in the context of NMR Spectroscopy and Mass Spectrometry. It will appeal to those working in academia and the life science industries.
The meeting will combine Plenary and invited presentations, a poster session, vendor exhibitions and conference dinner. It will also include the award of the Duncan Bryant Memorial Prize on behalf of the MSG for the best poster.
The meeting will also showcase the latest hardware and software developments from a wide range of vendors covering analytical instrumentation, laboratory peripherals, through to data processing and analysis software.
Location
The meeting will be held at the Barcelo Hinckley Island Hotel, Leicestershire, UK. This is located in the centre of England and may be reached readily from the M1 and M6 motorways. The nearest rail station is at Hinckley which is a 10 minute taxi ride to the Hotel and can be reached from Birmingham New Street station in approximately 40 minutes (see National Rail Information).
If travelling by air, there are two local airports:
Birmingham Airport: Travel by train from Birmingham International station to Birmingham New Street station (~ 10 minutes) for change to Hinckley, as above.
East Midlands Airport: Car hire is recommended for the 40 minute drive to the hotel via the M1 (South) then M69.
Organising committee
Prof. Paul Thomas (University of Loughborough, MSG)
Dr. Steve Coombes (AstraZeneca, MSG)
Dr. Tim Claridge (University of Oxford, NMRDG)
Dr. John Parkinson (University of Strathclyde, NMRDG)
Dr. Don Richards (Pfizer, BMSS)
