GCCE 2012 - 1st IEEE Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE 2012)

1st IEEE Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE 2012) will bring together top technical professionals from consumers industry and academia to exchange information and results of recent work on systems, circuits, technologies, processes and applications.
GCCE 2012 will provide a forum for researchers, engineers, system developers, and service providers to share their ideas, designs, and experience in emerging technologies. GCCE 2012 is asking for submissions of technical papers for oral and poster presentations. Student papers are particularly encouraged. All accepted and presented papers will be published at IEEE Xplore.
GCCE is a truly international event and a sister conference to the successful International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE) held in the USA. GCCE 2012 will be held at the same time as CEATEC JAPAN 2012, that is one of the biggest consumer electronics shows in the world.

IEEE GCCEは、IEEE Consumer Electronics Society の Vice President 龍谷
大学・長谷智弘教授が立ち上げられ、毎年10月に日本で開催することが承認
された、IEEE 主催の民生用・情報家電分野の国際会議です。
IEEE Consumer Electronics Society はこれまで毎年1月に米国ラスベガス
で開催される世界最大の家電ショー CESに合わせて、同時期に同会場で情報
家電にまつわる国際会議:International Conference on Consumer
Electronics (ICCE) を主催しており、今年で30回目を迎えました。
これにならい、同じく世界3大家電ショーの1つであるCEATECに合わせ、国
際会議GCCEを年次大会として日本で開催する運びとなりました。
本年度のGCCE2012は、記念すべき第1回です。
CEATEC Japanとの同時開催でもあり、CE Society 最大規模の国際会議になる
ことが期待されています。
GCCEでは、広く民生用・情報家電にまつわる最新技術や研究成果の発表を歓
迎します。以下に代表的な話題を挙げますが、これに限りません。

査読の結果、採択された論文のうち、会議にて発表された論文は、IEEEの正
式なConference Proceeding として発行され、電子ライブラリ:IEEE Xplore
にて公開されます。
