Topics/Call fo Papers
Data Mining has been developed, though vigorously, under rather ad hoc and vague concepts. The goal of studying Foundations of Data Mining and Learning is to laying sound foundations for Mining and Discovery, shaping new data mining paradigms, seeking solutions to long standing data mining problems, and stimulating new data mining research directions.
The central objective in this symposium is to explore various fundamental issues of data mining and learning, spark new communications and collaborations between researchers and practitioners, and foster the study of data mining as a scientific field.
Both data mining researchers and practitioners are welcome to submit original and high quality papers on relevant topics in the field of data mining.
