About the workshop: The Urban Tree Foundation has teamed with The University of Florida, HortScience, Inc. and the Western Chapter ISA in a CalFire grant to provide pruning education and outreach to arborists. We will discuss not only what and how to prune to improve structure and reduce the likelihood for failure in the short and long term, but also how the tree is likely to respond, incorporating current tree biomechanics research. This is an interactive program, designed for exchange of ideas and experiences of all attendees.
