Abstract
The First FTRA International Workshop on Pervasive Technology and Application 2012 (PTA 2012) aims at high quality research contributions in pervasive technology and its application with a focus on how to apply the smart-grid technologies to the green IT, Ubiquitous Technology, Smart Home, Smart-grid, and sensor information analysis and processing from its application and hardware(on-chip system). A main goal of PTA is to address emerging research challenges in Ubiquitous and to help reducing power consumption, error propagation on smart area network, application, sensing node, and base station. Ubiquitous and Smart Area Network community researchers are encouraged to join the workshop to benefit from the presentation of results from smart area based research, which demonstrate important ubiquitous applications which could be enhanced.
