Nowadays, concerning the energy cost and climate change, developing the Smart Grid systems has become an urgent global priority, promising economic, environmental, and societal benefits. Smart Grid is a smart collection of distributed generation and demand to be operated in an optimal way. Control, information and communications technologies are at the core of the Smart Grids.
The International Symposium on Smart Grid Operation and Control (ISSGOC) is centered on all control, communication, and operation aspects that are relevant to the Smart Grid and aims at bringing together researchers from universities, industry, and research laboratories to exchange novel ideas, explore enabling technologies, discuss innovative designs, and share field trial experiences and lessons learnt.
You are cordially invited to attend the ISSGOC which will be organized by University of Kurdistan in Sanandaj, Iran on October 17-18, 2012. This unique two-day event will feature some invited Smart Grid experts, with insightful presentations and discussions. The Symposium provides an opportunity for a realistic and impartial assessment of the current state-of-the-art developments in Smart Grids operation and control around the world.
