Amity Institute of Competitive Intelligence and Strategic Management (AICISM), Amity University, invites research Papers for the Amity Competitive Intelligence Conference ? 2012 to be held at its campus in Noida, India on March 06, 2012.
Today’s business environment is marked by hyper-competition and thus requires focus to gain sustainable competitive advantage by actively managing the external environment, side by side with internal resources. Competitive Intelligence is the identification of strategically important corporate intelligence needs and the process of resolving those needs through ethical information-gathering, analysis, and the presentation of such analysis to clients. Markets and industries are no longer simple or stable; they have become differentiated and dynamic, and many are global in size. New industries and market segments emerge overnight, whilst, older ones suddenly disappear. These conditions require a deep, intense and flawless study of the environment, which is facilitated by Competitive Intelligence. Application of Competitive Intelligence will provide a way to get out of the confines of conventional thinking and to develop unique solutions to problems that would otherwise be difficult to solve.
