The Scientific Program Committee now invites you to submit extended abstracts for Measuring Behavior 2012. These can be for oral presentations for special or general sessions, posters, demonstrations or tutorials. It is also still possible to submit proposals for workshops or special sessions.

Take this opportunity to present new methods, techniques, and tools to an interdisciplinary scientific community or discuss how to standardize and optimize existing practices.
Topics related to any aspects of methods for the measurement of human and animal behavior are welcome. In previous conferences topics have included:

? Home cage phenotyping and other measurements
? Measuring the user experience
? Translational models of disease
? Measuring player experience in gaming
? New developments in GPS tracking
? Eye tracking, gaze analysis and facial recognition

? Automatic detection of behaviors
? Behavior and physiology
? Analysis of communication
? Gait analysis in animals and humans
? Human factors measurements
? Human behavior in traffic and urban environments
? Developments in tests for learning and memory in rodents
? Psychological measurements of behavior
? Measurement of behavior of insects
? Motion analysis and tracking
? Measuring consumer behavior
? Teaching the measurement of behavior
? Behavioral and wildlife ecology
? Animal welfare
Submission
Workshops and Special Session proposals can be mailed directly to the SPC chair. All other items should be submitted using the online submission system. Posters and oral presentations must use the style guide. For more details, see the submission page of the conference website.
