It's necessary to raise the reliability and satisfaction of the software in recent years, and the software has been large scale and complexity. In software development, as one of their solutions, the idea has came out which improves the quality by emphasizing higher-level design using a concept as software architecture. The advantages are that the design concept can be communicated, the productivity can be increased by raising level of abstraction, the reusability can be increased, the overall of the software can be grasped, and so on. It becomes necessary for software testing to cope with high reliability, large-scale, and complex software. In software testing, a key word as test design exists. However, nothing (eg, diagrams, notations, etc.) has many roles to communicate the design concept, to increase the productivity by raising level of abstraction, to increase the reusability, to grasp the overall of the software. By centering a concept as test architecture, the discussion to raise the quality of the test is needed. For example, a concept as test architecture is shown directly in U2TP. Test architecture would be treated indirectly as a part of the test strategy. Some organizations which establish the way to design test architecture originally exist. Thus, common understanding to a concept as test architecture has not been obtained. Hence, this workshop where the concept as test architecture is argued comprehensively with researchers and practitioners has been established this time.
