Civility represents the social norms and rules that must be followed to relate with others positively and productively. Indeed, what society seems to be gaining in terms of both knowledge and technological advancement, it’s losing out on basic social values that directly impact the bottom line.
The cost of incivility is high. Instead of focusing on work, those who experience the behavior are far less motivated and are worried about future incidents.
