SEANES 2012 - 2012 Southeast Asian Network of Ergonomics Societies Conference (SEANES)
Topics/Call fo Papers
With great pleasure we invite you to the Second International Conference of the South East Asian Network of Ergonomics Societies (SEANES), jointly held with the First Annual Conference of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Malaysia (2010). The theme of the conference is Ergonomics Innovations Leveraging User Experience and Sustainability.
SEANES is a network of the International Ergonomics Association. Endorsed by the IEA, the Conference is a leading regional forum on recent and relevant research, theories and practices in ergonomics, human factors engineering and human-computer interaction. The conference is multidisciplinary, cutting across these scientific fields.
SEANES 2012 brings together researchers and practitioners, to facilitate the sharing of results and experiences, and to contribute to the strengthening of networks, among ergonomics societies in the region, as well as with the rest in the world.
There will be various paper presentations, symposia, demonstrations, tutorials and workshop sessions. Participants are invited to submit proposals through the conference website. Parallel sessions are grouped into topics reflecting different human factors, ergonomics, and HCI perspectives.
Throughout the conference, there will be several recreational activities, ranging from group aerobic exercises, telematches, to kayaking, and golf. Bring your sports gear and join us in the keep fit programme.
SEANES 2012 is organized by HFEM, in cooperation with the International Ergonomics Association, IEEE, Damai Sciences Sdn Bhd, and Mimos Berhad. It is supported by ergonomics societies in Southeast Asia (ERGOSS, EST, PEI, PhilErgo), select universities in Malaysia (MMU, UNIMAS, UPM, UIAM, UTP, UNIMAP) and Proton Berhad.
The Organizing Committee looks forward to welcoming you to SEANES 2012 and to the mystical island of Langkawi!
