Topics/Call fo Papers
Abstracts IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE ONLY on HPH-related good and best practice, concepts and research may be submitted for
oral presentations (presentations of 10-15 minutes)
oral mini-presentations (3-5 minutes oral presentations)
poster sessions
Submitters are invited to select their preferred type of presentation. Papers submitted for oral or oral mini presentation, if not suitable for the chosen categories, may be considered for oral mini or poster presentation if the quality allows.
The Scientific Committee would especially like to invite papers with a focus on one of the main conference topics or on topics related to HPH task forces:

TOPICS OF HPH TASK FORCES AND WORKING GROUPS:
HP for children and adolescents in and by health services
HP for ageing populations
Migrant-friendly and culturally competent health services
HP in psychiatric care
Alcohol prevention
Tobacco free health services
Pain-free health services
Mental HP
Health literacy in healthcare
Networking in health promotion
Workplace health promotion in healthcare
User involvement in healthcarr
HPH & Environment
HPH standards and quality management
Physical Activity
application of information technology in HPH
SCREENING OF CONFERENCE PAPERS
All papers received until December 15, 2011 will be screened by the Scientific Committee. Criteria for the selection of contributions will be:
their originality
their explicit link to conference topics
their relation to principles of health promotion (described as being empowering, participatory, holistic, intersectoral, equitable, sustainable, and multi-strategy)
the availability of evaluation data / evidence
the explicit relation to HPH strategies and standards for HP in hospitals.
In order to facilitate travel planning for conference delegates, papers will be entered into the screening process directly after submission, and submitters will be informed about the screening results as early as possible (usually within 4 weeks after submission).
All submitters will be informed about the decision of the Scientific Committee latest by January 31, 2012.
