WCIT12 2012 - Second APT Preparatory Meeting for ITU 2012 World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT12-2)

The Second APT Preparatory Meeting for ITU 2012 World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT12-2) that will be held in Manila, Republic of Philippines from 28 to 29 October 2012. The meetings is hosted by the Information and Communications Technology Office (ICTO), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Republic of the Philippines.

The objectives of the Second APT Preparatory Meeting for WCIT-12 includes; nomination of its office bearers, identifying key areas of interest to the region and development of Preliminary APT Common Proposals (PACPs) based on members’ proposals. The meeting will also finalize the approval procedures of ACPs related to the work of the Group.
