Topics/Call fo Papers
ISMA’12 is the eighth of a series of symposia focusing on theoretical and practical aspects of Mechatronics. The symposium covers the synergetic integration of mechanical engineering with electronics, intelligent control, and design and manufacturing of industrial products and processes. Topics of interest include, but not limited to:
Autonomous Unmanned Vehicles
Robotics
Intelligent systems
Machine vision
Mobile actuator and sensor networks
Sensor design and sensor fusion
Industrial automation and embedded systems
Signal processing and system identification for Mechatronics
Navigation, localization, and simultaneous mapping
MEMS and NEMS
Education & Entrepreneurship in Mechatronics
Biomedical applications
Process control, distributed systems, and remote monitoring
Smart manufacturing technologies
Prospective participants of ISMA’12 are invited to submit their full papers using our TrackChair online submission system at:

The authors should follow the guidelines posted in the symposium website:

Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the proceedings of the ISMA’12 symposium. All accepted and presented papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. Selected papers will be published in a special issue of a reputed journal. The organizing committee welcomes proposals for special sessions and tutorials to be held in conjunction with ISMA’12. Please send your proposals by email to: isma12-AT-aus.edu.
